The goals of the York County Council on Aging can best be explained in our Mission, Vision and Action statements:
 

Mission Statement

The mission of the York County Council on Aging is to serve as a focal point for the provision and coordination of a broad range of services and activities for senior adults in York and Chester Counties.

 

Vision Statement

We aim to improve health and wellness, decrease isolation and provide assistance to seniors that will enhance their ability to live independently, remain out of institutions and improve the quality of their lives.

 

Action Statement

To achieve our goals, we provide, in addition to other services,  group dining, home delivered meals, home care, physical fitness, housing, volunteer services, and the operation of a coordinated transportation service that includes senior, contract and public transit service.
